CAMBODIA'S INFRASTRUCTURE AND MOBILITY FUTURE ACCELERATES AS CAMBUILD & CAMAUTO 2025 OPEN IN PHNOM PENH

Nation's premier showcase for construction and automotive solutions welcomes thousands of trade professionals to shape the Kingdom's next chapter of growth.

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, Oct. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambodia's construction and automotive industries took centre stage today as the nation's flagship exhibitions, CAMBUILD 2025 and CAMAUTO 2025, officially opened at the Diamond Island Convention & Exhibition Centre (DIECC), marking a pivotal milestone in the Kingdom's journey toward industrial modernisation and technological advancement.

The dual exhibitions were inaugurated by H.E. Lao Tipseiha, Secretary of States, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, joined by industry leaders, including Mr. Edmund Lee, Business Development Director for Cambodia, and Dr. Tan Monivann, President, Cambodia Automotive Industry Federation.

The opening ceremony featured a vibrant Apsara cultural performance, followed by keynote addresses and the presentation of appreciation plaques to strategic partners. A ribbon-cutting ceremony then marked the official opening, before dignitaries embarked on an exclusive VVIP tour of technologies shaping Cambodia's built environment and mobility future.

Now in its 14th edition, CAMBUILD continues its legacies as the Kingdom's definitive platform for construction and building technologies, serving as the gateway for international technology providers and local industry stakeholders to collaborate on advancing Cambodia's infrastructure ambitions. This year's show brings together over 100 exhibitors from more than 15 countries, showcasing next-generation building materials, construction technologies, and M&E systems.

Running concurrently, CAMAUTO 2025 spotlights Cambodia's rapidly expanding automotive aftermarket, with exhibits spanning spare parts, repair tools, industrial machinery, and mobility solutions. Together, the two shows are expected to attract over 6,000 trade visitors, including contractors, developers, architects, engineers, automotive professionals, and investors.

"This strategic co-location reflects the integrated nature of modern cities, where world-class infrastructure and smart mobility must progress hand in hand to build sustainable, liveable communities," said Mr. Edmund Lee, Business Development Director for Cambodia.

Addressing attendees, H.E. Lao Tipseiha emphasised the exhibitions' transformative role in Cambodia's development. "These exhibitions provide a crucial bridge between Cambodia and the international community, showcasing advanced solutions, technologies, and expertise that will shape the future of our infrastructure, automotive, and industrial sectors. They represent not just business opportunities, but pathways to sustainable development and technological sovereignty for our nation."

International participation is strong, with dedicated showcases from Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Italy, and South Korea, underscoring Cambodia's growing importance in regional supply chains and as Southeast Asia's go to market for advanced industrial solutions.

Beyond the exhibition floor, a comprehensive technical symposium delivered insights into critical topics, including green building certification, energy-efficient design, digital construction, sustainable urban planning in Southeast Asia, and the future of smart mobility. Exclusive VIP Group Tours will also connect delegations of government officials, industry leaders, and investors with exhibitors, fostering long-term collaborations and investment opportunities.

CAMBUILD 2025 and CAMAUTO 2025 are endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce and supported by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Board of Engineers Cambodia, Board of Architects Cambodia, and the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology.
