Tyson candidly shared that he never expected to have the opportunity to perform at Kai Tak. 'Back in 2019, I held my first solo concert at TTN, and selling out the show felt like a pinnacle moment in my life. But life is like a game of chess; you can never predict the future. Six years later, I'm surprised and grateful to be performing at Kai Tak Sports Park.'

Portraying Growth Through Performance: Less Talking, More Performing

Tyson, who embraces being himself both on and off the stage, is making his first foray into Kai Tak with a specially designed stage and performance. He said, 'During my first large-scale ticketed concert, 'My New World Order' at the Kitec Star Hall three years ago, the public wasn't very familiar with me, so I expressed my thoughts through my words. For this Kai Tak concert, I want to showcase my growth over the past few years through my performance, so there will be less talking and more performing. I even have to remind myself to tone down the 'cuteness', haha!'

The concert is themed 'The Villain', and the poster features Tyson holding a sword and riding a horse, exuding a formidable aura. What story lies behind this concept? Tyson reveals that it is inspired by his favorite anime: 'I see myself as an outsider in the entertainment industry. If we compare artists to manga characters, others might resemble heroes from 'Naruto' or 'One Piece', while I'm more like a character from 'Death Note'. So, the sword and horse do signify a 'battle', but the battle is not against others; it's against myself!' Tyson, known for his unique perspectives, continued, 'Over the past three years, I've been in constant dialogue with my 'former self' in my mind, gaining new insights with each conversation and burying that 'old me' to become a new person. So, this battle is actually a contest with myself.'

The 'Villain' of the Entertainment Industry: Choosing to Remain Unsigned

When asked why he considers himself the 'villain' of the entertainment industry, Tyson replied, 'Refusing to sign with any company is probably the most 'villainous' thing I've done. Plus, my music choices are also quite rebellious; I refuse to conform to the music genres that everyone else is doing!' He jokingly added that he's the only 'villain', while his good brothers, including軒公, Jeffrey Wei, Jin Jin, and Serrini, are all 'good guys'.

The soon-to-be-married Tyson has no plans to stop fans from throwing bras on stage and will generously show off his muscles. He said, 'Showing off my physique is a given! As a self-disciplined individual, Tyson has been dieting and working out regularly to take his already amazing body to the next level. He shared, 'Lately, I've been preparing to 'seclude' myself and avoid going out for meals to avoid having to carry an electronic scale with me. Although my friends are used to it, I still want to avoid it as much as possible!'

The Devoted Husband: Feeling Guilty for Not Being Able to Celebrate His Fiancée's Birthday

The first performance (July 5) coincides with his fiancée Christy's birthday, and the acknowledged 'devoted husband' Tyson has a plan: 'Maybe we can have the whole audience sing the birthday song to Christy first! She might have to rush to the airport halfway through the show to head to Europe early to prepare for the wedding. I feel a bit guilty that I can't celebrate her birthday with her this year, but it's okay. I'll spend every birthday with her from now on.
