Green in Tuen Mun | Food and Fun Carnival

In response to World Food Day in October, we have prepared a two-day Food and Fun Carnival for everyone. Hong Kong is known as a 'food paradise', and as a melting pot of international cuisine, it's not difficult to find delicious food. But for those who consider themselves food connoisseurs, do you practice food appreciation and avoid waste? Don't be greedy for variety and stingy with your stomach; it's a blessing to be able to eat, and even better to finish everything on your plate!

This carnival is packed with activities to teach everyone how to appreciate and waste less food in their daily lives, achieve zero-waste landfills, and cultivate good habits. In addition to 'Finding the Cow' and a free second-hand market, there will be booths and exhibitions with the theme of appreciating food and drink, allowing participants to understand the importance of this culture. Of course, we will also have our popular eco-workshops, with different themes on each day, teaching participants how to make practical items out of kitchen waste, turning trash into treasure!

⚠ Notices:

1. If you have a fever or are feeling unwell, please avoid visiting 'Green in Tuen Mun'

2. During the event, please follow staff instructions for queuing.

3. Eco-workshop materials will be provided by 'Green in Tuen Mun'. On-site registration is required (first-come, first-served, while supplies last). Each participant must queue in person at the designated location and register in the order of the queue.

4. Queuing and registration for each eco-workshop session will open 20 minutes before the start of the session.

5. The free second-hand market will only distribute items and will not collect them.
