Popular livestream program "Third Uncle Park" and creative media brand 100 Mao have teamed up again to present a hilarious new stage play, "Kidnap Before Y2K," this Christmas season. Directed by Deng Weijie, director of "Ben Jiao Grand Theater," the play is co-written by emerging screenwriters Xu Jinbang, Chan Keung, Li Mingtao, and A-Bu (Yao Jiahao). The cast includes "Third Uncle" Zou Kaiguang (Tan Uncle), Yu Diwei (Di Wei), and A-Bu, who are starring together for the first time. The cast also features goddess singer Cloud and Mai Peidong, winner of the Best Actor Award in the "New Talent Competition (Mandarin)" at the 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival in 2023 for his role in "Corridors of Justice." The play also joins a host of popular online influencers, including 100 Mao's Li Junya, JFFT Chicken Wings and Bed Brother, and Hong Kong Films' Axia. This crossover collaboration blends elements of local pop culture to create a new stage classic that blends laughter and suspense.
