[ET Net News Agency, 26 February 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$130.94 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$18.82 billion, or 14.38% of the
market's turnover. There were 814 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.88 billion and HK$1.59
billion, or 10% and 8.45% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 45.25% and 44.64% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and A GX HSCEICC (03416) registered HK$523.91 million and
HK$510.36 million of short sales, accounting for 2.78% and 2.71% of the total short sales
values respectively. The transactions represented 72.26% and 82.74% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.1, or 0.37%, to HK$26.88. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.075, or 1.46%, to HK$5.065. XL2CSOPHSTECH fell HK$0.148, or 3.26% to HK$4.392. A GX
HSCEICC declined by HK$0.13, or 1.28%, to HK$10.06.
