HK$155.52 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.57 billion, or 13.87% of the
market's turnover. There were 777 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.83 billion and HK$1.74
billion, or 13.13% and 8.08% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 31.81% and 49.38% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.19 billion and HK$1.19 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.54% and 5.51% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 11.73% and 20.84% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed flat, to HK$26.54. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.005, or 0.09%, to
HK$5.605. BABA-W rose HK$3.4, or 2.28% to HK$152.4. HSCEI ETF declined by HK$0.2, or
0.21%, to HK$93.76.
