[ET Net News Agency, 30 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$199.77 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$29.99 billion, or 15.01% of the
market's turnover. There were 818 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.37 billion and HK$1.46
billion, or 11.23% and 4.87% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 23.78% and 27.35% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.43 billion and HK$1.24 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.76% and 4.14% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 15.32% and 14.28% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.88, or 0.97%, to HK$92.02. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.09, or
1.68%, to HK$5.46. TRACKER FUND rose HK$0.24, or 0.93% to HK$26.06. BABA-W jumped HK$1.2,
or 0.84%, to HK$144.5.
