[ET Net News Agency, 28 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$146.2 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17.24 billion, or 11.79% of the
market's turnover. There were 792 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and MEITUAN-W
(03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.5 billion and HK$1.13
billion, or 8.71% and 6.56% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 14.86% and 25% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$630.88 million and HK$530.85
million of short sales, accounting for 3.66% and 3.08% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 10.51% and 6.56% of respective stock's
turnover.
BABA-W closed up HK$0.9, or 0.6%, to HK$151.5. MEITUAN-W ended down HK$1.5, or 1.44%, to
HK$102.5. TRACKER FUND fell HK$0.02, or 0.08% to HK$26.04. TENCENT remained flat, to
HK$611.5.
