HK$314.62 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$53.17 billion, or 16.9% of the
market's turnover. There were 768 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.48 billion and HK$3.43
billion, or 8.43% and 6.45% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 30.11% and 30.88% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.07 billion and HK$1.99 billion of
short sales, accounting for 3.89% and 3.75% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 29.96% and 9.59% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.68, or 2.56%, to HK$25.86. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.255, or 4.33%, to HK$5.635. MEITUAN-W fell HK$4.25, or 4.3% to HK$94.5. BABA-W
declined by HK$6.8, or 4.22%, to HK$154.4.
