[ET Net News Agency, 14 October 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$398.91 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$63.17 billion, or 15.84% of the
market's turnover. There were 773 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.46 billion and HK$4
billion, or 8.64% and 6.33% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 28.8% and 15.99% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$3.72 billion and HK$2.63 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.88% and 4.17% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 11.6% and 24.46% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.2, or 3.33%, to HK$5.805. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.42,
or 1.58%, to HK$26.12. BABA-W fell HK$7, or 4.31% to HK$155.6. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$0.46, or 0.94%, to HK$48.62.
