[ET Net News Agency, 27 May 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$203.27
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.56 billion, or 18.48% of the market's
turnover. There were 702 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$9.28 billion and HK$3.91 billion, or
24.7% and 10.41% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
46.27% and 51.93% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$3.51 billion and HK$2.38
billion of short sales, accounting for 9.35% and 6.35% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 69.55% and 20.04% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.14, or 0.6%, to HK$23.66. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.3, or
0.35%, to HK$87.18. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.045, or 0.89% to HK$5.095. MEITUAN-W jumped
HK$2.7, or 2.09%, to HK$132.1.
