[ET Net News Agency, 27 May 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$111.39
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$16.75 billion, or 15.04% of the market's
turnover. There were 661 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.23 billion and HK$1.91 billion, or
13.32% and 11.39% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 23.67% and 40.63% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.75 billion and HK$1.73
billion of short sales, accounting for 10.45% and 10.34% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 21.64% and 63.85% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.02, or 0.09%, to HK$23.5. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$0.32, or
0.37%, to HK$86.56. MEITUAN-W fell HK$0.1, or 0.08% to HK$129.3. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.025, or 0.49%, to HK$5.025.
