There were 823 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.33 billion and HK$1.64 billion, or 8.45% and 5.96% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 28.33% and 36.02% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.4 billion and HK$1.36 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.08% and 4.94% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.56% and 14.95% of respective stock's turnover.
