There were 829 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.12 billion and HK$2.87 billion, or 10.68% and 9.83% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 28.65% and 45.58% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.81 billion and HK$1.3 billion of short sales, accounting for 6.19% and 4.47% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 32.1% and 17.46% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.24, or 0.97%, to HK$24.5. XL2CSOPHYNIX ended up HK$5.51, or 5.6%, to HK$103.85. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.094, or 2.03% to HK$4.54. TENCENT declined by HK$7, or 1.5%, to HK$458.6.
