HSI extends its drop to 500+ pts and is now at 25,388

[ET Net News Agency, 17 October 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 25,387. The Hang Seng Index now fell 500 points, or 1.9% to
25,387; with market turnover of 185.09b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell
191 points, or 2.1% to 9,068; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 190 points, or 3.2% to
5,813.
BABA-W (09988) now fell HK$5.8, or 3.6% to HK$155.4, with turnover of HK$10.21b; TENCENT
(00700) fell HK$13.5, or 2.2% to HK$606.5, with turnover of HK$5.55b; HSBC HOLDINGS
(00005) fell HK$1.6, or 1.6% to HK$101.3, with turnover of HK$1.06b. (ed)
