[ET Net News Agency, 25 February 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$122.27 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$19.77 billion, or 16.17% of the
market's turnover. There were 806 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.68 billion and HK$2.58
billion, or 13.56% and 13.07% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 38.14% and 48.97% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) registered HK$1.06 billion and HK$504.32
million of short sales, accounting for 5.36% and 2.55% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 21.43% and 35.06% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.2, or 0.75%, to HK$27. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.025, or
0.49%, to HK$5.17. HSCEI ETF rose HK$0.8, or 0.87% to HK$93.08. HSBC HOLDINGS declined by
HK$0.4, or 0.3%, to HK$134.9.
