[ET Net News Agency, 27 August 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$371.38 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$65.19 billion, or 17.56% of the
market's turnover. There were 771 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$11.66 billion and HK$5.99
billion, or 17.89% and 9.19% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 30.14% and 54.49% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$4.34 billion and HK$3.36 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.65% and 5.15% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 25.12% and 35.44% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.32, or 1.23%, to HK$25.7. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.08,
or 1.41%, to HK$5.595. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.2, or 1.28% to HK$92.3. MEITUAN-W declined by
HK$3.7, or 3.08%, to HK$116.3.
