[ET Net News Agency, 8 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 161 points lower today at 25,252. It reached a high of 25,394, down 18 points, and a low of 25,225, down 187 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 95 points, or 0.4%, at 25,317.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$6.13b for the full day, compared to a net inflow of HK$1.28b on the previous session. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were YOFC(06869), BABA-W(09988), XIAOMI-W(01810), KB LAMINATES(01888) and CNOOC(00883) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were SMIC(00981), Z.AI(02513) and MINIMAX-W(00100) in that order.
