HSI extends its rise to 800+ pts and is now at 25,917

[ET Net News Agency, 8 April 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
800 points, or 800 points to 25,916. The Hang Seng Index now rose 800 points, or 3.2% to
25,916; with market turnover of 278.85b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
226 points, or 2.7% to 8,683; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 241 points, or 5.2% to
4,920.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$8.7, or 7.3% to HK$127.2, with turnover of HK$17.19b; HSBC
HOLDINGS (00005) rose HK$8, or 6.2% to HK$138, with turnover of HK$3.33b; MEITUAN-W
(03690) rose HK$9.1, or 11.3% to HK$89.35, with turnover of HK$6.9b. (ed)
