HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 25,580

[ET Net News Agency, 1 September 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more
than 500 points, or 502 points to 25,580. The Hang Seng Index now rose 502 points, or 2%
to 25,580; with market turnover of 13.2b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
166 points, or 1.9% to 9,114; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 146 points, or 2.6% to
5,820.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$20.8, or 18% to HK$136.5, with turnover of HK$4.27b; BYD
COMPANY (01211) fell HK$8.1, or 7.1% to HK$106.3, with turnover of HK$858.15m; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$11.5, or 1.9% to HK$608, with turnover of HK$690.09m. (ed)
