HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 25,842

[ET Net News Agency, 25 August 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 502 points to 25,841. The Hang Seng Index now rose 502 points, or 2% to
25,841; with market turnover of 126.74b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
171 points, or 1.9% to 9,251; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 163 points, or 2.9% to
5,811.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$6.1, or 5.2% to HK$124.1, with turnover of HK$6.56b; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$16, or 2.7% to HK$616, with turnover of HK$4.97b; MEITUAN-W (03690) rose
HK$4.1, or 3.5% to HK$122.5, with turnover of HK$3.4b. (ed)
